Hanif was born in Africa and migrated to Montreal in 1974. Hanif Started his first Business in 1989 in General Sales Merchandise and now owns a Sales Agency. He recently launched TAZA Innovative Consulting where his focus is to help businesses cut back on their expenses and increase their market reach. He is presently serving on the Ismaili Council for the Prairies as Chairperson for the local Social Welfare Board. Hanif has been on the Ismaili Council since 1982 serving also as Vice Chair of Catering as well as a four year term as Chairperson for Transportation.
His future plans include a return to university to obtain his Registered Social Worker Degree – with the goal of focusing on the grass root causes of poverty. He hopes to continue to learn about social issues as a Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter board member and actively give back to the community.
