How can I help out?

There are many ways to get involved. You can donate time, goods or finances as well as help spread the word in the community and raise awareness about family violence. See the Give Help section for more information. If you are a past client who is now in a safe place, you may be in a special position to help - give us a call!

Do you take donations of materials?

Yes. We accept new items only for our cients. We prefer gift cards so we have the flexibility to purchase specific items on demand. Please shop our Wishbook or see our current needs list for more information.

Do you take used goods?

No. After evacuating the shelter twice due to bedbugs and the high cost of processing and storage we no longer accept used goods. Please see our links section for organizations that accept used goods.

Will someone come to talk to our group, church, business or school about your organization?

Yes. We do community events and help coach fundraising initiatives throughout the community. Please call our Communications Manager at 403-213-5166 for more information.

Can I volunteer?

Yes. Our volunteers must go through background checks and interviews. Please see our volunteer section or contact Volunteer Coordinator at 403-539-5129 or more information.
