Tober - Director
Daniel
(Dan) Tober is a long-term employee of BP Canada Energy Company
with a long history of promoting volunteerism within the company.
Dan holds an engineering degree as well as an MBA, and has thirty
years of experience in the energy industry. He has held various
volunteer roles within school councils, professional societies and
his community association. He has acted as the BP Canada Energy
Company liaison with CWES for five years with a current focus on
the Non-Abusive Futures program at Forest Lawn High School. A native
Calgarian who has seen tremendous change and pressures within the
community, Dan has always admired what CWES does in the community.
Mavis
Clark - Director
Mavis
Clark recently retired from the Calgary Board of Education (CBE)
as the Superintendent of Human Resources. In this senior leadership
role she was responsible for Recruitment and Talent Management;
Labour Relations; Total Compensation and Benefits; and the Employee
Health and Wellness Centre for 10,000+ employees. She began her
career with the CBE as an educator and held various positions during
her tenure. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a
Bachelor of Education and Masters of Education. Ms. Clark also holds
a designation of Certified Human Resources Practitioner from the
Human Resources Institute of Alberta.
Donna Lewis - Director
Donna Lewis is the Director, Human Resources for West Canadian, a Calgary-based digital print, scanning & design company with offices in Calgary, Edmonton and Fort McMurray, employing 250 people. In this senior role she is responsible for recruitment, labour relations, Human Resources policies, training and professional development. As a human resources professional, Donna received her Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of Calgary and is an active member of the Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA). Donna has formerly worked in the financial and oil & gas industries.
In the community, Ms. Lewis has been involved with the Breast Cancer Foundation and served nine years at the committee level with the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter and is currently serving as a Director of the Board.
