*  No shelter will leave a woman in a dangerous situation. We will see that she is transported to safety and will help her make plans from a safe place. Many women are referred to our Community Crisis Counselors, who help them access a safe place to stay (e.g. hotel) and provide counseling until space in a shelter is available, others are able to stay with friends or relatives.  Counselors can also help clients to access other community resources and safely bypass a shelter stay.
