The Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter understands the role that everyone in our community shares in keeping our city safe and our family violence programs sustainable. In collaboration with other stakeholders, we have developed a Community Engagement Strategy to ensure that we stay focused on our mission to end domestic violence and abuse in Calgary.
In addition to fundraising events, and collaborative awareness events such as Family Violence Prevention Month each November, FearIsNotLove makes every effort to promote education and awareness about domestic violence and abuse within the community of Calgary.
