Child and Adolescent Assistant Volunteer
A variety of shifts are availabe for volunteers to help in the Child and Adolescent Program - morning, afternoon and evening.
Duties required:
- Engage children in a variety of activities such as crafts, games etc
- Maintain the room and toys to a high standard of cleanliness
- Support the CAS staff in maintaining the CAS Program in keepng with the philosophy and protocols of the Shelter
- • Experience working/volunteering with children preferred
- • Some training in family violence or a willingness to be trained in this issue
- • Non-judgmental attitude
- • Knowledge of first aid an asset
