Each year more than 12,000 women, children, youth, and men reach out to the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter for help to break free of family violence. Each winter we ask you, our supporters, to ensure families experiencing the trauma of abuse feel supported their first holiday season on the road to a life free of abuse.

Today’s economic uncertainty combined with the approaching hectic holiday season can add even more stress to families struggling with violence in their home. This holiday season we need your help more than ever.
