Many people are curious about what it's like inside an Emergency Shelter. We think you'll be surprised by what you see -- a warm, comforting place of hope and inspiration. A tour of Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter is now available. By showing Calgarians what the Emergency Shelter is like and how our services work, we hope that more people will feel comfortable to pick up the phone and call the 24 hour Family Violence Helpline at 403 234-SAFE, to call if they have questions about how to help a friend or neighbour, or to recommend to someone else to make the call.
There's a role for everyone in ending family violence.
