Memorial Gift

A memorial gift is a donation made in memory of someone who has passed away.

When you make a memorial gift to the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter, at your request, we will send a letter of acknowledgement to an individual of your choice, often the next of kin.

The letter states a donation was made to honour the memory of their loved one. The amount of the donation is not disclosed. Also, you can choose not to send the acknowledgement letter or to send it anonymously.

Memorial gifts may be eligible for a tax-receipt.
