The Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter has a number of programs that support women in the community. In fact over 90% of our clients are served through programs other than our Shelter building.
A woman can be living with her abuser to access these programs or she may be living on her own.
A counsellor will meet you in a safe place and provide all the emotional and logistical support you would receive in the Shelter program (other than the amenities of food and housing supplied by the Shelter program.
