We at Meez Fast Home Cuisine have been inspired by Anne Spelliscy to collect donations on behalf of the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter.
Despite the fact that Anne's body has been ravaged by the effects of ALS (Amytrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease), her spirit has done nothing but soar. As a result of her goal to count her blessings and "pay it forward", Anne and her army of angels have collected items to donate to the Kelowna Women's Shelter at this time of year.
Anne can't walk, talk, eat or even breath on her own anymore, but look how much she still can do and does. She is truly inspirational and we ask you to support the Calgary shelter in her honor.
