Steve and Theresas Wedding Shower

Hello loved ones! Thank you for considering a gift to the women's shelter in honour of our wedding shower.
You may or may not know that Theresa worked in a shelter on Salt Spring Island for a few years counseling women and children who were fleeing abusive relationships. This work brought her to Calgary where she worked for he first year here taking care of media and communications for the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter. In fact, she coordinated the creation of this very website!
Whatever you can give, your gift will be put to good use.
We are requesting this funding go to counsellor salaries in the children's counselling program. This program currently has two counsellors and would need another four to take all the dozens of children on the waiting list to get help.
