Outreach Counsellors provide a progression of services for women and children who want access to the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter’s programs without actually staying in the Shelter. The same programs that are offered within the shelter setting are also available within the community. Outreach Counsellors will work with clients who require long-term support.

Through individual counselling, safety planning, goal planning, information, and referrals to community resources, women continue along their journey toward lives free from family violence and abuse.
