The Emergency Shelter’s kitchen facilities are an important part of the road back to normalcy. Regular, healthy meals have often been missing from the lives of these families. In fact, a child’s favourite memory of his recent shelter stay was dinner at the ’fancy restaurant’ right in the building – a testament to the need for routine that the Emergency Shelter provides.
